Creating your own nail art designs can be hella fun, super easy, and extremely cost effective! So quit spending thousands of rupees each month to beautify your fingertips. A few basic items are all you need to flaunt some pretty nail art right from the comfort of your home, and scotch tape is one of them. Take a look at how to use scotch tape for nail art that’s oh-so-fabulous!
Things You Will Need:
- Nail Polish
- Scissors
- Tweezers
- Eye Shadow Sponge
- Scotch Tape
- Top Coat
Steps To Follow:
Step 1: Paint your nails with white nail polish, and let it dry before you move onto the next step.
(I suggest you do this a few hours before you start with your nail art, so that you are all set to work the magic!)
Step 2: Cut thin triangles of tape, and place them on the corners of your nail to create a star like effect.
Step 3: Paint your nails and peel the tape off with a pair of tweezers while it is semi-dry.
Step 4: Apply the tape in a diagonal line across your nail, and paint it with a light pink colour.
Step 5: Remove the tape, and let the paint dry before you move onto the next step.
Step 6: Apply another piece of tape on the nail and repeat the same process with a dark pink nail paint.
Step 7: Carefully peel the tape off with tweezers.
Step 8: Fold a piece of tape in half and cut out half a heart at the fold. Open it up to get the full heart shape cut out. When you fold the tape make sure you fold it a little off the edge so that it is easy to open.
Step 9: Stick the tape at the centre of the nail, and create an ombre effect with an eye shadow sponge.
Step 10: Peel off the tape to reveal the heart shape.
Step 11: Cut a mid-size triangle from the tape, and stick it on the centre of the nail.
Step 12: Paint the nail, and remove the tape carefully.
Step 13: Cut really thin pieces of the triangle once again, and stick them in a zig-zag pattern on the nail.
Step 14: Paint the nail, and remove the tape once it is semi-dry.
Step 15: Paint all the nails with a top coat.
Voila! You are all set to flaunt your fabulous nails!
