Website- DIY Mother's Day Gifts

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and if you’re one of the last-minute gifters who resort to a department store gift card, then allow me to help you out! Buying gifts is definitely an easy way out when it comes to doing something special for your mom, but a DIY gift will go a long, long way in showing her how much you care.

There is not a single girl in this world who doesn’t love accessorising in one way or another. You can either make a pretty ring in a colour your mom likes, or make a multi-coloured bracelet, as well as a ring/earring holder. These DIY’s are super easy to dive into, so grab a friend and make a gift for you mom this weekend!

1. Floral Ring

Things you need:

Steps to follow:

Step 1: Wrap a jewelry wire around the marker 5 times in order to create 5 petals.

Step 2: Remove the wire from the marker, pull the ends through it and twist it in place.

Step 3: Spread out the petals and twist them at the base to create a flower.

Step 4: Swipe the nail polish brush from left to right so that it covers the gap. Be patient here – keep a steady and slow hand. You can do it!

Step 5: Apply a dot of glitter at the center of the flower, too cover the gaps. Finally, apply some strong hold glue on the ring and stick the flower in place.

 2. Accessories Holder

Things you need:

Steps To Follow:

Step 1: Cut out a piece of felt fabric the same dimension as the width of the box that you are using to make this ring/earring holder.

Step 2: Roll the fabric till the desired length and glue the edges.

Step 3: Take a piece of paper and cut it to fit inside the box.

Step 4: Place all the felt rolls in the box, but make sure that there aren’t too many gaps between each one since the jewelry would fall right through it.

3. Beaded Bracelet

Things you need:

Steps To Follow:

Step 1: Tie a knot 5 inches away from the end of the ribbon.

Step 2: Pull the needle from the bottom of the ribbon and put a bead through it. Secure it by pushing the need out from the back side of the ribbon.

Step 3: Leave a gap on 1 inch and repeat the same step. Pull onto each gap as you move onto the next one.

Step 4: Tie a knot once you’re done and then cut off the extra thread

Voila, you are all set with three super easy and cute DIY gifts for your mom!
