DIY: Give Your T-Shirts A Summer-Approved Makeover!

Website- DIY Summer Tees

Summer is here, and it’s time to revamp those T-shirts you’ve been hoarding for way too long. Well, guess what?! We’ve got you two easy-peasy ways to do just that.

Try these out with your bestie, ’cause all you need is an old T-shirt and a few items you probably have in your home. Let us know in the comment section below which of the two is your favourite!

1. Fringe Crop Top

Things you need:

Steps To Follow:

1. Apply the tape where you would want the fringe to begin. This helps ensure that it will begin on the same line.

2. Cut vertical slits till you reach the tape line.

3. Pull the strings to elongate them. They will curl inwards and give a clean finish.

4. Knot the strings as show above.

5. Cut off the hem of the T-shirt.

Now you are all set to twirl in your fringe cropped top!

2. Pineapple Printed Tee

Things you need:

Steps To Follow:

1. Cut the pineapple print on the paper in order to create a stencil

2. Place the stencil where you would want to make the print.

3. Tape the paper down so that it does not move.

4. Pour some bleach in a spray bottle and spray some bleach on the exposed area.

5. Lightly dab away the excess bleach from the T-shirt so that it doesn’t bleed through the other side of the T-shirt.

6. Wait for the bleach to react.

7. Peel off the paper.

You are all set to rock this bleach print tee!
