Diwali 2024: 5 Ways To Treat Firecracker Burns At Home!
Try and have a safe Diwali but in case, there are some minor burns, here are some ways on how it can be dealt with.

The festival of light and joy is finally here. We are sure that you all must have already stocked up on kinds of crackers. The joy is bursting crackers in Diwali is unmatched. However, amid all the happiness, excitement and energy, we can be less self-aware while dealing with these firecrackers which may lead to unforeseen situations.
Therefore it’s always better to take precautions around them, and if unfortunately, you end up getting burns, here’s a list of some quick home remedies you can try to treat it.
1. Cold Water
The first thing one has to do is immediately treat the burn with cold water. Just leave the burn open for some time under a cool water tap so it lessens the effect of the burning sensation.
2. First Aid
It’s recommended that you apply an ointment suitable for burns.
3. No Ice
Avoid using ice on the burns, it can only make things bad.
4. Rub Aloevera Or Put Aloevera Gel
Another home remedy that you can try is applying aloe vera on the burn. Aloe vera has some amazing antibacterial qualities that will prevent any swelling of burns. It also has a cooling effect.
5. Don’t Touch The Burn
If there is any cloth on the burn, do not try and remove it as it will cause more pain. Also, do not burst the blisters.

Try to keep your body away from the firecrackers while burning it. Don’t try and be cool if front of friends and flaunt unnecessary tricks that can be risky. If the burn is severe, immediately rush to the hospital without waiting much!
