Delhi Government Launches Mahila Mohalla Clinics To Provide Free Medical Services To Women. That Is A Much-Needed Move!

One problem that sadly exists in our country is the healthcare system. It is still a necessity that the country fails to make accessible and affordable for a large portion of the population. There are strata of groups in the county who suffer immensely because either the healthcare is too expensive to afford, especially the private hospitals, or if it is by the Government, the facilities are not up to the mark. Both ways the people suffer and women bear the brunt of it the most TBH. The solutions to deal with this raging problem in the country are surely being looked into by the authorities because the Delhi government has come up with a good initiative. The Arvind Kejriwal government has announced to launch of Mahila Mohalla Clinics for women’s healthcare.
Now, there are many socio-economic factors that obstruct women to take care of their health. Indian women anyways have a natural habit of not keeping their health on priority. Many women from the economically weaker sections of society suffer from this even more because they are also faced with money problems to have a proper health check-up. But the Delhi government’s initiative of Mahila Mohalla Clinics for women will try to at least resolve such problems for some women.

This is certainly a good and much-needed step taken by the Delhi government. Although it is expected that they stand true to their words and provide standard healthcare facilities for women. Just because it is free, hopefully, it does not end up being a good-for-nothing kind of initiative.
