The Décor Label That Is Your Answer To Everything Indian

Dhoop_Label ALert_Hauterfly

Bored of the regular décor sites, that house the same old stuff? Well, Dhoop is one place that will take care of that. A cute little store in Bandra, Dhoop has everything you can ask for in a décor brand. It was inspired by the travels of owner Aradhna Nagpal. The idea struck her during one of her trips to the North East, where she saw artisans at work. She immediately decided to bring the local essence to Mumbai. The basic concept behind this venture is to bring the whole country under one roof. Handpicked by Aradhna herself, Dhoop has everything from wooden baskets from Nagaland, ceramic mugs from Pondicherry, tribal necklaces, and so much more. Literally, a collection of India, all in one place. Ethnicity at its very best!

The range balances the urban and the traditional. You will find intricate wall accents, laser-cut lamps, and recycled material platters. As Aradhna says, each product has a story, whether it is a fibre fridge magnet, a bamboo toy, a knife board made of bark, or a stone idol of Buddha. Aradhna is a double major in Ancient Indian Culture and Anthropology, so we’re pretty sure she is the best at what she does. From curating the largest craft exhibition in Mumbai to collaborating with various brands and designers, she has proved to the world that if anyone knows about Indian interiors, it’s her. Dhoop now has their own in-house design studio that caters to personalised products for clients.

The best way to shop for Dhoop products would be to actually visit the store, but if you can’t, their website helps you out. Their Bageecha collection, which is replete with floral and animal prints, is one our hearts are set on. Scroll on to check out a few pieces from the huge range of products available on the site.
