#HauteSounds: Metallica Is Back After Eight Long Years!

Are you a Metallica fan? Did you head bang like crazy to all of their songs? If so, it’s time for you lot to get up and put your hands in the air. After 8 whole years of rumours and speculation, Metallica has officially announced a double album — the follow up to Death Magnetic! Titled Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, the album is slated to release on November 18, 2016.

The iconic band recently premiered the music video of the song Hardwired, and we’re hooked. Hardwired is the first single from the upcoming album. Check out the music video.

It’s 3-minutes long and is a snappy, snazzy and totally upbeat number! It opens up with a round of snares and chugging, and soon builds up to this insane tempo. Add in the guitar fills, the powerful kicks, and the best drumming ever and you have gold! In a nutshell, it’s Metallica, through and through.

This song in itself seems to be promising — if you’re a heavy metal fan, that is. The imagery, like their music, is fast and quick-paced. The images merge into each other flawlessly. The dim lighting only adds to the element of mystery and anticipation! I’m sure every Metallica fan out there will go ballistic after listening to Hardwired and, even more so, after watching the music video.

But that’s not all! Metallica also released the complete track listing for their album. Scroll on to find it.
