While Bollywood has witnessed a plethora of celebrity weddings lately, it seems like one of the cutest couples in tinsel town may have trouble in paradise! Imran Khan and Avantika Malik, who have been married for the last eight years, have always given us couple goals. The way they have loved and raised their daughter Imara, and posted loving pictures of themselves on Instagram always made us go aww.
However, if sources are to be believed the couple has parted ways. “Avantika allegedly left 24, Pali Hill, Imran’s residence, a while ago with Imara (daughter). It is being said that she is currently staying with her family,” an insider source told DNA.
Apparently, their families and friends are encouraging them to work things out. And we hope they can, because such an adorable family shouldn’t have to split, right?

When Imran went down on one knee
The couple has been setting all sorts of romantic goals for us. Their togetherness dates back to their college days. In fact, Imran Khan had made proposal night a big one for Avantika Malik. He decorated her room with candles and went down on one knee asking her to marry him.

Raising Imara
They have been such cute parents too. Imran Khan had told Hindustan Times on Imara’s first birthday, “The first couple of months were very difficult for the three of us because there was this constant panic and fear that we had about whether we were doing things right. But you don’t realise when those feelings fade away, and when you start to accept things. I remember, when we first brought her home, I went crazy with sterilising things and using sanitisers.”

“You know you’ve married the right guy when…” – Avantika Malik
On their 6th anniversary, Avantika had posted a picture of them on Instagram with the caption “You know you have married the right guy when your relationship evolves into something beyond even your own definition of love. Thank you baby for bringing magic into my life and making me a believer. Happy anniversary to us!! #youareeverything” However, we couldn’t find this picture on her Instagram profile anymore, which is heartbreaking! In fact, the last picture of them together on Imran Khan’s profile was in 2017. Although, that’s probably because he rarely ever posts on Instagram.
We don’t know if we should make something out of this, but guys, it’s making us really sad that things went rough between them. Love doesn’t come with a guarantee certificate, but we hope this rough patch is just a temporary phase and they get back together soon.
