#HauteSounds: The 5 New Songs On Our Playlist This Month

With a new month, comes new music. And inevitably, new songs means a change in our playlists. The songs you listen to on a loop get replaced by new, peppier numbers. I think it’s super important to keep yourselves updated with the latest tracks. Otherwise, you’re going to be in a club with your friends, a quizzical look on your face as you wonder what song the DJ’s playing right now!

To avoid such a situation, you can always turn to us. We’ve already been updating regularly you on new songs and new albums. And now, we’ve listened to and selected 5 new songs that you can definitely add to your September playlist. Scroll on!

1. Freedun – M.I.A. ft. ZAYN

On Thursday, M.I.A. released her new song featuring Zayn Malik. This song is going to be part of her upcoming album AIM. The song has a hint of pop and the beats are both rhythmic and catchy. Watch out for Malik’s falsetto towards the end!

2. The Greatest – Sia

Sia’s new song is a tribute to the victims of the Orlando nightclub incident. Apart from the wonderfully strong bass kick that’s been used, this song is also bound to tug at your heart strings.

3. I Lie Awake Every Night – James Vincent McMorrow

This makes for an ideal listen-to on a lazy Sunday morning. The drum beats, pads, and soothing vocals are enough to transport you to your little happy place.

4. Soy Yo – Bomba Estéreo

Here’s proof of the fact that you don’t need to always know the language to enjoy the music. Music only requires you to feel the beats inside your mind and body, and dance along! Thanks to the catchy drum beats, this song is something that will definitely polish that badass vibe you’ve been channeling!

5. Radio – Sylvan Esso

This one’s my favourite and I’m listening to it for about the third time as I write this! I love how the beats have been layered on, one by one, to create a song that is catchy and really well made. It’s a great package as a whole and you’ll definitely want to sing along!
