Gone are the days when we look out of the windows to see whether it’s raining or not. Now, we get updates by tapping on Instagram stories. For the last two days, all I’ve seen are pictures and boomerangs with captions like — ‘Finally, the rains are here!’ or ‘I’ve a love-hate relationship with the monsoon.’
So, yup… the rains have graced us with their presence. And the one thing that everyone will go out and purchase this season is an umbrella. That, and some hot pakoras, maybe? But with the busy lives we lead, finding time to catch a breath is hard, let alone scouting for a pretty umbrella.
We’ll wait for the rains to soak us to the bone, and maybe even fall sick before we actually buy an umbrella.
