Maharashtra BJP Chief’s Sexist Remark To NCP MP Supriya Sule Is A Reflection Of What Society Thinks About Women

You know, I think politics is a very complicated subject and I don’t understand any of it. However, that doesn’t mean every woman in this world is clueless about politics and every man is an expert in this field but some misogynistic people don’t understand this simple thing and now they are crossing the limits, to be honest. Maharashtra BJP Chief Chandrakant Patil recently landed himself in controversy over his sexist remark on Nationalist Congress Party MP Supriya Sule. He asked her if she does not understand politics, she should go home and cook. Itna sexism laate kaha se ho yaar!

On Wednesday, NCP MP Supriya Sule was addressing a party meeting on the OBC reservation issue and raised a question on how the BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh got relief from the Supreme Court over the OBC reservation. After that, Maharashtra BJP President Chandrakant Patil, who was leading a protest against the state government over the same issue said that if Supriya Sule does not understand politics, she should go home and cook. According to the reports, he also added that she should go to Delhi or even hell to give reservations. It’s a shame that male politicians think that it’s okay to casually pass such sexist comments on female politicians.

Sadanand Sule – Supriya Sule’s husband slammed Chandrakant Patil on Twitter for passing such misogynistic comments. In his tweet, he said that he is proud of his wife and this ‘go home and cook’ remark is an insult to all women.

Well, Chandrakant Patil’s sexist comment is nothing but a reflection of what society thinks about women. This is too sexist to handle, we must say.
