Indian weddings are all about rituals and family. And do you know who is the happiest at the wedding except for people who are just attending it for the food? The answer is definitely the parents of the bride and groom. But what happens when the parents have no idea about their children’s marriage? Recently, a woman in Bihar posted about her marriage on social media as she updated her Facebook relationship status as ‘got married’ after her father reported her kidnapping. Even Indian serials don’t have so much drama, honestly!

The woman’s father had filed an FIR claiming that she had been kidnapped. But soon after, the woman announced her marriage on social media and asked her father to not interfere in her life. She added, “Don’t bother us, papa.” As soon as the video was posted online, it went viral. In the video, she dismissed the news about her kidnapping and appealed to the police to help her. The video also features her husband, the woman mentioned that she got married of her own free will and is really happy.

The police investigated the viral video and found out that the woman is from Malikpura. The woman’s father filed the case at the Goraul police station. According to the reports, the police are investing the video and the FIR. Till then, it’s unclear whether the abduction claim was legitimate or fake and the marriage was forceful or not.
