Shachi’s Cute Ethnic Bag Is Perfect For Weekend Outfits

One can never have enough bags. And whether you accept it or not, every girl needs a different handbag for different outfits. That is how we roll.

I like shopping and I think I’m on my way to becoming a shopoholic thanks to working at Hauterfly. It takes a lot for me to not buy a bag, especially when it looks anything like the one on my #HauteList this week. I like a good blend of ethnic and edgy in my wardrobe — be it my clothes, footwear or the bags I carry. I’ve always been fascinated by the Kutchi abla embroidery, be it on clothes, those gorgeous mojris, or the bags you find in Gujarat. Which is why this beauty from Zara caught my eye!

Zara Special Edition Embroidered Bag

I love ethnic bags because they’re so versatile. You can literally carry them with anything. From ripped jeans and a white tee, to black jumpsuits accessorised with a cross-body jhola, this special edition Zara bag looks fabulous with it all. Personally, I love the mirror detailing and what surprised me the most — it’s a Zara bag! Seriously, when have you seen anything this ethnic and pretty at Zara? While I love the brand for its basics, it was nice to spot something different from their usual minimalist style.

This special edition bag is the perfect size to carry your essentials through the day and small enough that you won’t be able to fill it with all kinds of crap. It is definitely more expensive than how much you’d pay for bags like these in Gujarat and Rajasthan, but you’re getting this one with a sling and at your doorstep. Not a bad deal, eh?
