The Office Essential That Aindrila Can’t Do Without

I’m ALWAYS on the run. So the trick for me when it comes to looking (read: makeup) and smelling (read: perfume) good is to opt for products that are easy-to-use, have convenient packaging, and can easily fit into my tote. I hate lugging around bulky stuff, when my bag is already filled with office essentials (read: iPad, notepad, pens, pencils, etc!). So there’s no way I’ll carry a perfume bottle in my daily carry-on, however prettily it might catch my fancy. I hate weight. More so, when it’s right on my shoulder!

Among all the French skincare and beauty brands I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot of them), the one that I most certainly vouch for and have been a long-time fan of is L’Occitane. So the one must-visit store on all my trips to the mall is this beauty and skincare brand. I’m quite in love with their products and my L’Occitane daily routine comprises the face wash, the body butter, the hand cream, and of course, the perfume.

A couple of months back, I came across the Roses et Reines Roll-on Eau de Toilette, during one of my retail therapy rituals, and fell head over heels. In love. The sleek, travel-friendly packaging of this EDT made my day. It’s lightweight and has a floral under-note, which is my favourite. And it’s one product that has found a constant place in my office bag. What’s not to love if you can smell like fresh petals with just a roll-on, right? Feminine and  fantastic.
