Zahra’s Faux Leather Jacket Is A Wardrobe Must-Have

Zahra’s Faux Leather Jacket Is A Wardrobe Must-Have

Let’s get one thing straight, girls. A leather biker jacket will ALWAYS be in vogue. Whether you want to wear one in fall or spring, a biker jacket is the kind of statement piece you can always rely on to make your everyday look more interesting. Biker jackets were everywhere on the Spring 2016 catwalks: Be it Saint Laurent, Burberry, Louis Vuitton or Vetements, they came in avatars as varied as cropped, printed, studded, scuffed or belted.

What’s more, they are great transitional pieces and work amazingly well when you want to layer your outfit with cool outerwear. They add edge to a boring outfit and instantly bring a badass vibe to your personality. So you see now why I’m such a sucker for this trend?

Zara Faux Leather Jacket

Every girl should own atleast one edgy jacket in her wardrobe, and if you’re not too hot on leather, there are a plethora of faux versions that work just as well. Case in point: This chic faux leather jacket from Zara.

This season, biker jackets come with some fun twists — oversized, printed or embroidered — but my favourite kind is the one with lots of patches. Numbers, letters and logos are thoroughly enjoying their moment in the spotlight right now, and these fun detailings make the jacket look less traditional and more on-trend. What I love is that the colourful, devil-may-care array of patches on this Zara piece add a serious dose of personality to what’s an otherwise standard jacket.

While this one is a pricey pick at almost 6k, consider it an investment worth making in your long-term sartorial cleverness. For one, it will never go out of style. And two: Which girl doesn’t like exuding a don’t-mess-with-me attitude without saying a single word? I’m sold on it already!
