A few days back, Congress Minister Rahul Gandhi started a discussion around “Vote Chori” and gave an elaborate presentation on the same. Recently, he held another press conference to speak about the Haryana polls, and the minister alleged that a Brazilian model’s face was used to create fake identities and cast a vote during the elections. Rahul Gandhi’s Claims
Rahul Gandhi held a press conference, which he started by talking about a woman whose face was allegedly used during the Haryana polls. The picture of the woman was displayed on the big screen, and the Congress minister asked everyone to identify the woman, and then went on to say that she was a Brazilian model. Rahul Gandhi claimed that the opposition party used the image to create fake identities during the Haryana polls and collect votes. He again reiterated his claims on “Vote Chori”. He further stated that the woman’s image had appeared during the poll around 22 times across 10 different polling booths.

As per a News 18 report, the image was taken from website which gives access to stock images. The picture of this woman was taken by a photographer named Matheus Ferrero. The image was downloaded more that 4 lakh times and also viewed more that 59 lakh times.
Earlier, when Rahul Gandhi had alleged the corruption in voting, the Election Commission had dismissed all the allegations. However, there was a lot of debate and discussion that happened on social media.
