We Love Esha Gupta’s Bold Style But This Polka-Dotted Pyjama Suit Has Us Thoroughly Confused

If you’re active on Instagram, you simply can’t miss Esha Gupta. Here’s a sexy, bold woman who has repeatedly shut down trolls every time they have come after her. She puts up pictures that might be considered risque, and she simply has no hoots to give about what your opinion is about her. And we totally stan it, we love her here at Hauterfly. In fact, we love her sartorial choices as well. From sexy to sombre, her fashion is always on point.

So it was odd for us to see her in this outfit that threw us off a bit. Scratch that, this outfits threw us off completely. We are talking about this polka-dotted pyjama suit from Parul Maurya that she wore to the promotion of her upcoming movie One Day: Justice Delivered. She was making her attendance in Delhi. Esha plays a cop in this movie. We get that perhaps because hers is a character that would wear pants, maybe her outfit was an extension of that. And you know, the polka dots to add an element of fun to the proceedings but we must question this. Why?

Because she looks like she got it right in theory but in reality it looks like she really wants to hit the bed and catch up on some sleep. We’ve to say this – it’s not the fit of the outfit, it hugs her in all the right places. Perhaps it’s the polka dots? Too big and clunky to pass off as cute, thereby making this look fall apart.

As fashion sleuths, we did out research and found that this designer does have an affinity towards dotted things and she’s done several versions of the outfit Esha was wearing. But we think that this maroon and beige polka suit fares much better in the fashion arena than the one Esha was saddled with. Because otherwise, there was nothing to fault with this look. We especially love the purple eyes that are an unusual choice but one that makes us want to play around the palettes sitting at the back of our beauty closet.

This one was a miss for us. Or maybe the brief to the designer was an outfit that goes from AM to PM and then to bed as well. We are confused.
