Oh Zara, you’re always the answer to my prayers! Anything dual-purpose is like music to my ears (and a blessing to my pocket). Likewise, Zara’s Mix & Match Mini Crossbody bag works for me in every way possible. As much as I love purchasing bags for every occasion, I admit that some of them have only been a one-hit wonder and have immediately pulled a vanishing act after that ONE EVENT. Which makes me wonder why I bought them in the first place. That’s the magic of this mini-crossbody — it can go from funky-casual to posh-formal with just one flip!
The bag comes with two easily interchangeable flaps — one being a classic pink nude for a slightly sombre look, while the second one is black embellished with retro appliqué patchwork, giving off the perfect 80s/90s retro vibe. I absolutely love the funky incorporation of the appliqué and since patchwork is trendy at the moment (we’ve seen a lot of it on denim), this is a nice way of atypically taking on the trend. The metal chain and metallic fastening is what adds that “oh it looks really expensive” factor to it, as well.
I can wear this crossbody with literally anything and everything without looking like I am obliviously partial to one of my bags. You can repeat, without even letting people know that you’re carrying around the same bag. Don’t we all love a 2-for-1 offer? Since, I am giving my ginormous totes a break at the moment, this mini crossbody is everything I need in order to satisfy my bag-aholism.
