Exclusive: “If I Were To Create My Bridal Look…” Tamannaah Bhatia Gets Candid About Fashion, Skincare, Shaadi Plans

During this season of FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week, designer Vani Vats presented her latest collection–Piroi. The special edit featured the label’s latest festive collection, which witnessed an array of muted tones, champagne-coloured lehengas, pre-draped sarees, and fabulously embroidered blouses. Walking for the designer was actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who made an impressive appearance in tassel-laden ivory and crystal-laden lehenga and blouse. Speaking exclusively to us, the actress spoke about her personal style, skincare routine and more.

Q: A film character of yours whose closet you’d love to see?

Tamannaah Bhatia: I think Babli from Babli Bouncer. I just loved all of it. It was so comfortable.

Q: If you were to create your bridal look, what would that be?

Tamannaah Bhatia: Oh, I have no clue. I mean, I dress up every day, so just imagine my confusion must be on another level.

Q: How do you prep your skin before a big show?

Tamannaah Bhatia: I like to prep my skin the night before and then of course I do prep it before I get to doing makeup. But I really feel it’s important to prep the night before because you rest with the prep and I feel like that kind of rejuvenates the entire skin and makes you absolutely ready for the day to come.

Q: What does your personal style look like on a day off?

Tamannaah Bhatia: I’m very moody when I dress. So there are times when I’m fully dressed up for no reason and I’m wondering where am I going with it. But nowhere. So I just like to dress up on a given day. On most days, it’s very toned down. So I’ll probably be roaming around in my workout gear. I have a lot of polarity when it comes to my dressing abilities.

Q: Who are the women in your personal life or celebrity that inspire your fashion?

Tamannaah Bhatia: I love Rekha Ji. I think she’s timeless. I think she’s just graceful and the epitome of beauty.
