For the press tour of her latest release–Babli Bouncer, Bhatia presented a lesson in statement dressing. Having us attentive, was the Huemn, graffiti dress on her, that presented colour splash and bold typography. She then sampled the yellow from her bodice to match her accessories. With danglers in yellow and sunny, open-toe heels, Tamannaah sealed a look in gelled hair and posed like a piece of art.

A Moment In Bow
International fashion weeks have already indicated the arrival of maximalist clothing accents. For celebrities who have shared a deep bond with sorbet hues and delicate sequins, the homecoming of standout designs is a risqué region to experiment in. But Tamannaah’s sartorial capabilities often dare to experience something new. Amidst the promotion tour for her Netflix project, the actress picked up a jewel-toned set from designer duo Gauri and Nainika. The emerald green balloon-like blouse, rekindled our love for French-worn pussy bow. The button-down satin, silk top was tucked inside a pair of high-octane, black glitter pants. The power play in her ensemble, further made an effort to risk the look with pearl studs, which thankfully landed well for Tamannaah.

The abundance of an awards night gown, in an actress’ wardrobe, can never be measured. With ballroom-flounce being the staple pick for many, Tamannaah’s taste in this category is a tad distinct from the rest. Cutting the fluff and building a look in a romantic, black dress, Tamannaah dolled up for promotions in a version of the classic little black dress. Giving it a rather chic update, the actress picked a royal met sassy piece by designer duo Gauri and Nainika. The silhouette followed the usual path of a plunging neckline but ended on a monumental note. Black found a match in fuchsia pink, that arrived to decorate the bodice with a massive rose motif. The frilled hemlines, then swam to the sides, giving the dress an asymmetrical look. Balancing the rest out, Bhatia played it safe with black heels and gold enamel earrings.

If superheroes could wear a saree, this look would be a definite pass. A spin on India’s favourite silhouette was brought to our screens by Tamannaah. This unusual marriage between a formal white shirt and a sequinned drape was imagined by designer Namrata Joshipura. The sass-stitched saree exhibited an impeccable version of a draped skirt, supported by a bustier-esqué bodice. The pallu in this case was short and crisp and sealed to one side. The puff sleeves arrived with an elastic interval and compensated for the tiny-collared shirt. A not-so desperate dresser in terms of jewellery, Tamannaah skipped some and decided to seal her hair into a ponytail. This look serves the fantasies of every maximalist dresser.

Futuristic
A pick that might not fit many wardrobes, Tamannaah’s futuristic dress was daring at best. Styled again by stylist Shaleena Nathani, the space-suit, derived aesthetic was curated by Dolce and Gabbana. A luxury label that guarantees attention, also helped Tamannaah attract some. The technicolour dress was already a show-stopping silhouette, thanks to the metallic fabric. The structured number then featured exaggerated shoulder pads, supporting the well-outlined bodice. Bhatia further matched the look with triangular Outhouse earrings and hair secured at the back.
