Actress Swara Bhasker just tied the knot with politician Fahad Ahmad. The actress hosted many pre-wedding functions and welcomed her friends and some close family members. While the pictures from her wedding to her mehendi ceremony caught our instant attention, her latest photographs from her wedding reception allowed us a peek into her colourful wedding wardrobe.

The actress wore her favourite designer duo–Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for the special day. As shared by the designers on their Instagram handle, Swara picked an heirloom-worthy zardozi marodi ghagra on red georgette. The exuberant colours on her lehenga, expressed her love for fuchsia pink, avocado green and gold. The regal silhouette was a nod to AJSK grandeur and the perfect choice for a reception party.

The intricately embroidered skirt, with a delicate flounce was balanced with a simple, sleeveless blouse, and a similarly dressed dupatta with geometric borders. She did a front-style pallu, to put her spectacular lehenga on display. She further accessorised the look using a jadau neckpiece, with a pair of shoulder-grazing earrings and a mang tikka.
Styled in contrast with Swara, was her husband Fahad, who also wore an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sherwani. The ivory and resham-embroidered silhouette brought a sense of balance in terms of colours, as compared to wife Swara’s look.
