If you’ve been going through our style section, you’ll notice that the one style trick I’ve been harping on about for the upcoming season is summer layering. Why? There’s no better way to work your summer staples together. And not to forget, it is very comfortable. But just in case you need more proof about how chic this style trick really is, here’s Neha Dhupia making a great case for stylish layering. Take a look at how smartly she wears a lightweight summer jacket over a breezy indigo and white kurta. Now we love Neha’s edgy style, but here she adds so much oomph to a rather simple everyday look. And that’s why we think she deserves high points in the styling department.
Strutting out of the airport, Neha opted for a top-to-toe Grassroot by Anita Dongre ensemble. She teamed a blue and white kurta with cropped linen palazzos and worked a lightweight summer jacket in neutral to the ensemble. She accessorised with a white stole and completed her look with a pair of white lace-ups. There’s not one single thing I can fault in this look. Can you? I like how comfortable it is, considering the fabrics are all light and breezy. Now that’s what I call summer-ready. LOVE it!
