In case you didn’t hear, Sonam Kapoor and her boyfriend Anand Ahuja tied the knot yesterday, and made things official in an intimate wedding ceremony! Not so intimate, was her grand wedding reception, that was held last night and had the biggest Bollywood stars from the entire country come down for the event.
The reception looked like a hell lot of fun with massive dance performances, a flash mob performed by Sonam Kapoor’s siblings and friends, and everyone going gaga dancing and celebrating Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s marriage.
The reception had so many attendees that the event almost turned into a glitzy red carpet for the paparazzi. As the OG fashionista of Bollywood is getting married, the wedding guests too had to be impeccably dressed! The red carpet was a healthy mix of sarees, lehengas and anarkalis. The designer that ruled the attendees’ trousseaux was Manish Malhotra. While speculations were rife that Sonam would wear an Anamika Khanna number for the wedding, she wore a custom Anamika Khanna look for the reception night instead.
