If there was one colour in the box we could associate with Monday, it would be grey. It’s always been that dreary shade we pick during the monsoon because we don’t want to mess up all our other coloured clothing. It never got the tag of being a ‘hot shade’ like black or an ‘easy breezy’ one like green or blue. For us, grey was always that dull shade you wore on a down day, or just at home.
Clearly Sonakshi Sinha thinks otherwise. At an event over the weekend, she was spotted in a slate grey dress that’s changing the way we feel about the colour.
Her stylist, Mohit Rai, put her in a pair of Adidas Superstar sneakers with the knot detail dress from Luly & Sky. A simple ponytail and dramatic eyes completed her look. If you swap the kicks for high heels, the dress can totally be worn out at night and, with sandals, you could take it to brunch. Grey just went from drab to fab, and we’re loving it!
