From Tidy Whites To Simple Cotton, Sobhita Dhulipala’s Summer-Friendly Sarees

Actress Sobhita Dhulipala’s fashion choices have made her one of the most well-dressed stars in Bollywood. The actress’ personal style craves experiments but also displays a liking for desi designs and couture. And while there is nothing that the actress cannot slay in, her collection of flavourful sarees remains our favourite. Straight from Indian cotton sarees to lustrous organza drapes, Dhulipala’s saree collection is just perfect for this season of heat. So, as the actress celebrates her 31st birthday today, we look back at our favourite pieces from her collection.
1. Indian summer Favourite
In new pictures on her Instagram handle, we spotted Sobhita basking in the sun, wearing a gorgeous cotton saree. The raw, white drape featured an outline of red borders on the pallu and sleeves of the blouse, alongside tiny abstract patches. She further styled the look with gold jhumkas, a bindi and messy hair.

2. Tissue Saree In Lime
Experimenting with unconventional colour combinations, Dhulipala participated in the marketing cycle of her latest release–PS-II by wearing a beautiful tissue saree. For one of the events, Dhulipala styled the simple Aashvi Tissue saree in apple green by IssaStudio. Combining the vibrant colour with a blouse in mauve, she cherished the technique of colour play, while balancing the look sans statement accessories.

3. Mirror And Ruffles
The cult-favourite ruffle saree in Sobhita’s wardrobe came dipped in the colour white, embellished with mirror details. Perfect for a summer wedding, Dhulipala styled the gorgeous Arpita Mehta saree with a sexy, two-strap blouse of the same shade. Embroidered with Chikankari details, she further styled the white saree with oxidised jewellery, messy hair and kohl eyes.

4. Romancing Pink
Summer fashion is all about embracing muted colours and silhouettes that come with the least layers of fabric. And doing exactly so, Sobhita worked around the gorgeous Manish Malhotra designs in a custom saree. For a promotional event, the actress embraced the shades of summer, in a blush pink drape, handcrafted with ivory borders and a high-neck blouse. Sheer, and extremely romantic, the design was further accentuated with multiple layers of diamond neckpieces and chandelier drop earrings.
