God. it’s warm outside! To an extent that at times I wish I didn’t have to deal with summer; frankly, I don’t care about ‘beat the heat’. And on going through some of my recent articles, my friend actually messaged me this: “Simi, for your next column, can you please lessen the number of clothes you’re recommending in an ensemble. Seriously, I’d want to step out in an outfit that’s cool and breezy.” And that’s when I thought to myself, nothing better than an easy-breezy, summer-friendly romper.
So my key piece this week is a super cute blue and white romper from Spring Break. It’s a perfect outfit to step out in on a warm day. Since it’s an outfit for the day, one that’s perfect for an outing with friends, I think it was best to avoid a pair of heels and thus included flats from Tao Paris instead. Add to that a simple brown sling bag from Oleva and a chunky cuff from Imli Street (both available at Jabong) and you’re good to go. Oh wait! And did I mention, all this in less than Rs 3,000.
