Simi’s Steals: The Summer-Ready Culottes

Come summer, and the one piece of clothing your wardrobe must-have is a pair of culottes. These It pants have already been in circulation for the past two seasons, and frankly, they’re not going anywhere. They’re cool and comfortable, and breezy enough to be your go-to summer staple. Not to mention that they’re pretty stylish too. We’ve already given you a rundown on how to style a pair of culottes in one of our earlier posts.
Now that we’re officially heading into summer (Gah! it’s already 32 degrees here today), I thought it would be awesome to work a pair of culottes for the day. And today’s key outfit is a pair of summer culottes from AND by Anita Dongre. The best part about a pair of basic culottes in a neutral colour is that it can be styled as you please. You could try an all-black-everything look teaming it with a black cami top, a pair of mules and a black sling bag. Else take the monochromatic route by teaming it with a white crop top and sneakers.
As far as this look is concerned, I’ve paired the pants with a slogan tee from Mango. I’ve also added a stylish pair of slip-ons from Lara Karen to the look, and there… you’re good to go. This look is entirely below Rs 3,000, but if you can go slightly over budget, I suggest you accessorise it with this messenger bag and a funky pair of glasses.
