Shibani Dandekar’s spin on Indian ethnic wear is always a treat to watch out for. Just recently, Dandekar styled a House Of Masaba saree in new pictures. The quirky pink number, known as the Gulal corset saree featured a textured pallu. The ensemble featured a full-sleeved blouse and a pink pallu with ruffle detailing.
She further layered the look with a front open corset of the same shade. The monochromatic pairing was further styled with a hint of colour play, through a studded emerald-encrusted choker and matching earrings. Dandekar further completed the look with a pair of nude pink heels. Dandekar tonged her hair into open curls. For makeup, she added a hint of gloss and blush with nude lips.

Dandekar’s experimental take on sarees is often seen through a string of pictures on her Instagram feed. She previously picked a tangerine saree dress, featuring a pallu, full-gloved sleeves and heels. The divider saree with a little dhoti detail was further styled using a high-neck blouse, and attached gloves. She further completed the look, using a pair of typography-print, orange heels.
Her eye for detail and experiments add a new flavour to the classic ethnic silhouettes. You can seek inspiration from Dandekar’s lookbook to dress up for your next wedding.
