Shehnaaz Gill is currently welcoming all the praises and love her way, for her latest project–Thank You For Coming. The actress, in collaboration with Rhea Kapoor, dished out a unique side to her fashionable self and worked around designer wear. Besides her love for metallic dresses, and peppy tulles, what remains a constant in her wardrobe is Gill’s interesting taste in ethnic wear. Hailing from Punjab, Gill often presents her innate desiness through ethnic wear, incorporating suits, salwars, shararas and sarees. And as we take a step closer to the festive season, let’s take some style inspiration from Shehnaaz to get the festive mood right.

Saree Please

Apart from embellished salwar suits, Shehnaaz loves giving her twist to sarees that speak comfort to her. During the promotions of Thank You For Coming, Gill styled a sorbet-hued, floral saree by Shanti Banaras. Channelling the essence of summer colours, the actress’ blush pink saree featured an overlay of lemon yellow print and a matching sleeveless blouse. She further styled the look with open hair and simple makeup.

Beloved Bandhani

There is nothing more perfect than a bright bandhani kurta set, to light up your festive wardrobe. One of our favourite ethnic looks from Shehnaaz’s wardrobe was this fuchsia pink sharara set, featuring a bright bandhani dupatta, a short kurta, embellished with golden borders and a pair of wide-legged sharara pants. She further styled the look with hair tied into a sleek bun and danced her heart out.

Royal Affair

To kickstart festivities, embrace traditional Indian embroidery work and colours in this Rimple And Harpreet salwaar suit. Channelling her inner Punjabi girl, Gill picked a burnt orange kurta featuring a massive embroidered neckline with golden thread work, and bell sleeves, embellished with a similar design. She further combined the look with a wide-legged salwar featuring floral gotta work with appliqué design and heavy embellishments. Styling the same, she added a pair of golden earrings and let her hair loose.

Festive Sets

For every lazy girl, doing her last-minute shopping, choose this festive co-ord set worn by Shehnaaz Gill. The signature Payal Singhal design featured an ice blue crop top with thread and pom-pom embellished sleeves, combined with a pair of wide-legged mukaish pants. Adding to the ensemble, she added a pair of shoulder-grazing hoop earrings and let her hair loose.

Lehenga Love

Nothing better than a lehenga to get you started for the season of festivals. From her collection of lehengas, we loved this highlighter green lehenga set featuring a roomy skirt and a matching full-sleeved blouse. Churning out a colour-blocking look, she added a two-toned ice-blue and peach sheer dupatta, with mirror-detailed embellishments adding more spark to the look. Gill completed the ensemble with a studded choker, and a unique eye makeup, curated using a stroke of pop pink eyeliner.
