Actress Shanaya Kapoor is currently attending a wedding, and serving some excellent looks. In two pictures from the pre-wedding festivities, the actress dropped some interesting outfits for bridesmaids to ape. Playing with her love for neutrals and jewel tones, her effortless ensembles came from the shelves of India’s best couturiers. First up for a sangeet night, Kapoor chose a Gen-Z-approved pre-draped saree.

The Swarovski-laden number was incorporated into the bejewelled skirt, followed by a drape, tied around her waist. She further combined the same with a dazzling blouse, featuring a plunging neckline and broad straps. Mixing it up with some diamonds, the actress accessorised her look with drizzling diamond earrings and a statement neckpiece, with her hair styled into a sleek bun. As a modern-day woman, who loves classic Indian silhouettes, but wouldn’t wanna indulge in the fuss of draping an entire saree, we think Shanaya’s sparkling pre-draped saree is the perfect pick for you.

Another of our favourite pieces from Kapoor’s wedding closet was the classic Rahul Mishra lehenga, which she took out for a daytime event. The stunning combination of floral embroidery work and katdaana sequins painted the skirt. The embroidery work on her deep-cut blouse with a dip in the centre also exhibited a beautiful work of colours and creatively placed floral cutouts. Styling the same, Shanaya picked up a stunning, gemstone-embellished necklace with tiny stud earrings. Her hair, tonged into romantic curls stitched the look well and complimented her dewy makeup look.

Shanaya’s sartorial picks describe her personal style, which stays away from trends but speaks about her love for minimalism. As a bridesmaid, the actress chose simple silhouettes, that allow her more movement to always be on the go, and help the bride.
