Singer and actress Selena Gomez attended the first Rare Impact Fund Benefit in a glimmering avatar. For the special event, Gomez walked the red carpet, wearing a popular Indian designer and expressed her love for Indian talent. New pictures on the internet, indicate her choice of shimmering outfit, which features a strapless purple dress. The statement, three-dimensional floral number was a spectacular design picked from designer Rahul Mishra’s atelier. Showcased at the Paris Haute Couture F/W 2023, the dress was a part of Mishra’s We The People collection.
The piece featured the designer’s signature embroidery work, with a 3D, elevated fabric structure exhibiting a combination of shaded petals. Embellished with sequins and thread embroidery work, Selena’s dress incorporated a one-shouldered sleeve. The mood-bursting shade of purple, mixed with a hint of lilac and aubergine, played well with the theme of the event and was masterfully accessorised by the singer. A part of the ensemble were diamond chandelier earrings, styled with straightened hair, and a minimal makeup look.

Allowing the dress to take the spotlight, her makeup was dewy and perfectly in contrast with the exuberant colour scheme followed by her dress. Prior to wearing the purple Rahul Mishra number, Selena arrived on the red carpet in a silver gown. The floor-length number featured a halter neckline, embellished with a rose-shaped brooch and a long train. She further accessorised the look with silver earrings and open-toe heels.
The Rare Impact Fund Benefit was earlier launched in the year 2020 by Gomez, with an aim to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and offer services and support to those in need.
