Haute Couture fashion week has arrived for another season. And arriving for the showcase, celebrities from Emma Watson to Hunter Schafer were seen dressed in the Parisian label’s latest collection. Designed by Daniel Roseberry, the collection titled–’ Shocking! The Surreal World of Elsa Schiaparelli’ was witnessed by Hollywood’s favourite stars, yesterday.

Tapping to the tunes of high street and luxe, Emma was spotted dressed in a relaxed pair of denim, that came teamed with a cropped blazer, featuring powerful padded shoulders. She layered the stunning outwear from Schiaparelli’s Spring/Summer 2022 with a solid-hued powder blue shirt and a white tee to seal the deal. Channelling a chic summer look, Emma kept her skin minimal and matte, with hair let loose to soak in the wind. Her decision of skipping larger-than-life gowns, felt right in place with her personal style. The form-fitting ensemble was accompanied by dramatic lapels and Chelsea boots.

Following black and gold as the unannounced theme, celebrities dipped themselves in the luxury label’s signature colour code, to make an impeccable appearance at the show. Another celebrity to join Emma was Euphoria star, Hunter Schafer. The actress was seen dressed in a strapless black dress, featuring a monumental bodice, and a corset-esqué appearance. She further paired the attire with black opera gloves, statement nail enamel heals, and the famous Saturn ring earrings from the shelves of Schiaparelli. To complete the look, Hunter topped it all off with a sleek hair ponytail and printed micro bag.

Another star to grace the audience’s seat was British singer–Rina Sawayama. Interestingly, the gold and black theme was sprinkled with a hint of monochrome. The cut-out number on her featured, a massive opening in the centre, sealed by gold clasps. She further completed the look with baby braids, gold face jewellery and black and white boots.

Joining these stars, musician Anitta too was in her dramatic best. The two-piece ensemble, incorporated a studded gold skirt and conical bustier, matched with a bejewelled beret and enamel Schiaparelli heart-shaped earrings. Another set of celebrities included Karlie Kloss, who arrived in a statement, cropped blazer and pants. And for those who seemed to skip the shade of the collection, Rita Ora caught our attention in a dazzling silver bandeau top, paired with embroidered creme-coloured pants.

The museum-inspired collection showcased a range of velvet coats, puff skirts, and silhouettes that loaned references from the label’s ‘Bureau Drawer’ suits. Staying true to its aesthetic of surrealism, the latest collection danced to the tunes of the gold and black, with metallic embroideries headlining almost every piece.
