If there’s one thing that unites women across India, it’s the fact that we can’t help but lust after Sabyasachi lehengas, and the man has not let us down with his new collection! India’s master couturier, Sabyasachi Mukherjee unveiled his Spring Summer 2018 collection, “Endless Summer” on Instagram, and boy, are we shook!
He presented a line of ‘shaadi-chic’ lehengas, anarkalis and saris in a host of kaleidoscopic hues that encapsulated his vivid childhood memories of Kolkata.
The time was ripe for a departure from the brooding yet royal jewel tones he’s known for, and we can’t help but be impressed by those florescent silks and organzas in marvelous magenta, turquoise and Gen Z yellow. The line also included ‘rustic baroque’, ethereal floral saris and anarkalis, which featured a melange of khadi, co-existing with silks and brocade – talk about a contrasting marriage made in heaven.
