Chiffon sarees have been a favourite amongst Bollywood celebrities. The classic look on actresses is visible in films by Yash Chopra and Karan Johar. And romancing the same in their everyday shoot life, stars from Kriti Sanon to Janhvi Kapoor have been giving chiffon a new spin. Bookmark these designs for your next desi look.
Kiara Advani
Taking the ombré route, Kiara Advani styled a shaded saree in colours orange and yellow. Advani gave a royal, elegant touch to the chiffon saree trend with multiple layers of gotta work, and brocade trims. Combined with the drape was a silk blouse with a deep v-neckline, and sleeves with ruching. Advani kept it simple and desi with hair tied into a bun, gajra and a bindi.
Ananya Panday
Ms Panday decked up for her cousin–Alana Panday’s wedding in an ice blue saree. The actress’ spin on the georgette, chiffon fabric featured chikankari embroidery on the borders, teamed with a bralette style sexy white blouse. She kept it minimal and easy with a Kundan-encrusted neckpiece and open pallu.
Rashmika Mandanna
Actress Rashmika Mandanna kept it simple in an Arpita Mehta saree. The actress’ see-through saree design featured delicate chord work with floral embroidery on the sides. Mandanna further combined the drape with a bronze embroidered blouse. She further accessorised the look with a pair of jhumkas and a bindi.
Kriti Sanon
Another fabulous look in a chiffon saree was served by actress Kriti Sanon in a sky-blue Manish Malhotra saree. Sanon picked a Malhotra drape and teamed it with a matching silk blouse. With embroidery on the sleeves and edges of her blouse, Sanon worked around a pair of silver earrings and a blue bindi.
