Twitter Thinks Ranveer Singh Should’ve Been Gucci Ambassador, Not Alia Bhatt. It Kinda Makes Sense!

Yesterday, actress Alia Bhatt broke the internet with the announcement of her new deal with international luxury fashion house–Gucci. The star, becomes the first Indian global ambassador to be the latest face for Gucci. This news instantly garnered love and the internet’s unbiased attention. With fans cheering for Bhatt, tweeple also seemed elated about the fact that the Bollywood girls are nailing it with every next step.

Like Deepika Padukone, Bhatt’s newest tryst with ambassadorships opens the door to world domination, which seems like a smart move and a marketing strategy to make a mark before her International debut. With a string of new pictures and a cover for Bazaar Arabia, Bhatt dropped the news of her new deal with the fashion house and surprised fans. But what seemed like a fair discourse on Twitter, was a section of fans, discussing why Bhatt got the contract instead of our OG Gucci boy–Ranveer Singh.

In a string of Twitter threads, we spotted a handful of tweeple, discussing this disappointing deal cracked by Gucci, where they welcomed Alia, and not Ranveer. For the unversed, Ranveer Singh’s fashionable affair with the designer house has been long-lived and loved. Besides being a supremely talented actor, Singh’s unique sense of style is what caters to the masses and impresses the fashion police. Apart from this, Singh has been a loyal fan of Gucci, with photoshoots and his closets filled with pieces from the designer house.

Questioning the ambassadorship, many expressed their disappointment and mentioned–”Alia for Gucci? Joke. She’s not even a fashion girl, doesn’t have it in her. Just following Deepika’s footsteps. The only person who can be a Gucci rep from this country is Ranveer Singh.” And honestly, we kinda agree.
