On February 21, 2024, actress Rakul Preet Singh tied the knot with beau Jackky Bhagnani in Goa. For the same, the actress picked up a bunch of custom-made, Indian designers and was styled by Ami Patel throughout her wedding festivities. Hosting guests for over three functions, the couple’s wedding wardrobe was nothing short of a dream. Dramatic and equally mesmerising, Rakul’s Punjabi Sindhi wedding, paid homage to both cultures and her love for details. Here are some of our favourite elements in her wedding wardrobe.
Funky Sneakers
For her beach-side Haldi ceremony, Rakul picked a dramatic blue lehenga by Papa Don’t Preach. The enigmatic piece was decorated with coral and gold gemstones, that feature the signature spark of the brand. The actress styled the look with floral jewellery, haath-phool, and an interesting pair of sneakers. Designed by Papa Don’t Preach, Rakul’s footwear choices included a fancy pair of hand-embroidered and embellished white sneakers that captured the colours and vibe of the function.
Phulkari Details
Paying homage to her Sikh Punjabi roots, the actress heavily relied on Phulkari embroidery work, which was a prominent element in her mehendi outfit. The actress picked up an Arpita Mehta, drape skirt set, featuring a mix of mirror-worked shoulders, mixed with phulkari embroidery was another of our favourites.
Hair Accessories
Rakul played well with her hair accessories and the details are worth your attention. Perfect for a bridal look, the actress’ mehendi hairstyle featured a blend of fresh flowers, moon, sun and stars motif jewellery decorating her braid alongside a parandi. Similarly for her sangeet night, the actress added a hint of sparkle with pearl and rhinestone beads, decorating her soft hair curls, and matching her silver Falguni Shane Peacock lehenga. Perfect bridal hair inspo.

Kaliras
Like most celebrity brides, Rakul also trusted kalira designer Mrinalini Chandra for her dazzling kaliras. The actress’ custom-made champagne gold kaliras featured a melange of all the love she is surrounded with in her life. From the initials of her and Jackky’s names to the evil eye and envelopes, the actress’ kaliras incorporated special messages from her loved ones.
