Priyanka Chopra And Radhika Apte Gave Us Two Ways To Wear A Black Floral Saree And We Want One Of Each
There is a reason why I will always be fascinated by a woman wearing a saree. Growing up with a mother who was obsessed with them, the saree has become an integral part of me. And it wasn’t just any drape, but the gorgeous black saree that would stand out among even the most colourful ones. I guess, you can call it a signature look, my mom in a dark printed saree. And the fact that it might even be a trend this festive season is giving me a lot of joy!
Leading this crusade are Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Radhika Apte, who both wore very different black sarees and were an absolute vision in them.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas is enjoying her homecoming, promoting The Sky Is Pink in the city of Mumbai RN. She made sure to kickstart her press junket with a saree, a black floral number from Sabyasachi’s latest collection. The floral saree builds on the classic Sabya print, this time on a sleek shiny fabric with a rich and dark hue. We love the way these natural colour plays in the floral print on the saree, adding just the right amount of brightness to it. The simple accessorising paired with her signature red pout completed the look. We think we know what to wear for our Diwali this year and it is fabulous!
We found a pretty floral saree that won’t burn a hole in your wallet, you are welcome!
Is it just us or are net sarees are a seriously underrated? Sheer sarees are a great way to stay cool in the sweaty Puja pandals, we already know that. Radhika Apte’s sheer floral saree from Raw Mango is a great example of a lightweight pretty saree that hugs our curves in a sexy yet classy way. They are oh-so-great for showing off the blouse design as well. This festive season we suspect a sea of flirty neck designs peeking out of sheer sarees and it is glorious!
In other news, PeeCee is all set to serve up many more promotional looks come this week and we are keeping an eye out. Till then, check out the trailer of her film that became a festival darling this year!
