Special occasions, deserve an extra special outfit. Right? And just like most of us, actress Parineeti Chopra also understands the importance of a perfect look for special moments. With this, the actress is finally heading to receive the honour of the ‘Outstanding Achiever Award’ at the India UK Achievers Award. Almost a week ago, Parineeti shared an exciting announcement with a note on Instagram, that said she will be receiving the honour in the field of Arts, Entertainment and Culture. She also mentioned how the moment is extra special, as “life has come a full circle,” and she’s heading to the UK, where she started and studied in a business school.
And yes, the moment has arrived, as the actress shared a brand new picture reel on her Instagram, sharing with the world, her outfit for the momentous occasion. Taking neat tailoring seriously, Chopra’s pick for the day involved some season-specific layering, which she achieved with a black vest, long trailing pants, a white shirt and an ash-grey trench coat. With that, Chopra swapped her coat with a plaid blazer, in some pictures that revealed her full-sleeved shirt. To accessorise, the actress picked a stiff black tie and a pearl-encrusted ring.

She further decided to go with her signature kohl eye look, and lightly sealed her hair into her shirt collars. She further dipped her toes into a pair of pointed, black heels and sealed the look with a pale pink lip colour. What we loved about her ensemble, was her choice of a simple suit in a classic shade, that reflects her style nature as a non-experimenter. Distancing herself from any fashion faux pas on a special day, the actress used the fail-proof recipe of power dressing as her canvas, and built an entire look using trench coats and defined bold eyes.
Styled by Two Fold- Fashion stylists, Parineeti shared the reel with a sweet caption that said, “Suited, booted… for the Houses of Parliament and Downing Street!”
