From Chikankari To Colour Play, Parineeti Chopra’s Shuddh Desi Romance With Ethnicwear

Actress Parineeti Chopra’s fashion evolution has seen many downs and a few ups. With time, the actress has learnt the trick to style herself and curated a distinct taste for herself. With recent collaborations with stylists like Tanya Ghavri, the actress has been making some impeccable sartorial choices. Especially with her collection of Indian ethnicwear, Chopra never fails at delivering a moment in her sarees, suits and lehengas, which come in various prints, sequins and patterns. Especially with her collection of ethnic wear, Chopra makes sure to keep a wide variety in hand for every special occasion. Check out some of our favourite designs from her closet.

Colour Play Saree

For the love of colours, Chopra dished out an interesting look in a contrasting, two-toned saree. The crumpled blouse in mustard yellow was teamed with a beetroot red saree featuring dull gold lines. She further accessorised the look using a pair of gold earrings. With that Chopra completed the look using a pair of glass heels.

Sequin Saree

For the love of sequins, the actress styled her ombre midnight blue saree by designer Manish Malhotra. The actress also styled Bollywood’s favourite saree design with glossy eye makeup and tiny ear droplets. While Chopra enjoys a stack of Indian-born embroideries, her spin on the glamorous sequins is a refreshing change in her wardrobe.

Ivory Fever

For the ongoing season of festivities, Chopra makes sure to walk with the trends, as she styles an ivory Ritika Mirchandani set. The three-piece attire featured a tonal embroidery in white, combined with scallops, and mirrors. The set featured a tiny blouse, a long trailing jacket and a slit skirt featuring the same embroidery. What we loved about the entire ensemble was Chopra’s eye for detail and her selection of dainty jewellery.

Romancing Red

Another of our favourite pieces from Parineeti’s wardrobe is the romantic red lehenga. Styled by Tanya Ghavri, Chopra dazzled in the lace lehenga, teamed with a bandeau blouse, and a one-shoulder wrap detailing. The interesting silhouette gave a unique spin on the classic lehenga design, making it an appealing piece in her collection. She further styled the look using pearl and dull gold chaandbalis with kundan bangles.
