Every country has its very own traditions that package its cultural heritage. With that, wedding fashion takes the biggest spot in the market. Likewise, Pakistan is known for its spectacular bridal wear, worn during nikaah or weddings. From magnificent jewellery, and statement veils to colours, brides from India’s neighbouring country paint a dreamy picture on their wedding day. And if you’re looking to dress up for your special day, take style cues from popular Pakistani actresses’ for your nikaah.

Mahira Khan

The popular Pakistani star Mahira Khan is an influential image in Pakistan. The actress’ collection of ethnic wear has filled her wardrobe with salwaar suits, crisp kurtas and traditional jewellery. Through many photoshoots, the actress has turned into a bride. One of our favourite bridal looks on the actress is this red look, incorporating a lace-laden veil, combined with a royal blue ensemble. She further accessorised the look with a massive chaand maangtika and shoulder-grazing earrings. You can replicate this look like Khan, with kohl eyes, and subtle makeup.

Hania Aamir

Hania Aamir weaves a blend between minimalism and traditional aesthetic, through this gold bridal look. Staying true to the culture-relevant bridal kalidaar, the actress loves the overlay of tonal, and hand embroidery, as she goes overboard with her jewellery. In terms of accessories, Aamir worked around a combination of maangtika, a pearl paassa, kundan choker, and matching earrings. For some colour, the actress painted her lips red and dished out her signature blush pink look.

Sajal Aly

Actress Sajal Aly’s wardrobe filled with ethnic wear is painted with coffee hues, ivory and gold. For a spectacular bridal look, Aly suggests playing with muted tones, in the traditional silhouette of sharara and long kurta. Like Aly, you can combine the ensemble with a mirror-soaked maangtika, pearl-weaved bangles and a set of two-tier neckpieces.

Sanam Saeed

Sanam Saeed is a true blue minimalist at heart. Saeed’s spin on bridal wear includes a salmon pink anarkali, embellished with beetroot red threads. Sana further styled the look with a loosely tied braid, a side-embellished gajra and dainty jewellery. If you’re someone who hates going overboard with layering and accessories, take style cues from Sanam Saeed.

Maya Ali

Actress Maya Ali’s bridal look is a mix of traditional charm and interesting trends. Ali stays true to sorbet hues in a Pakistani style with a gharara and kurta set. Her ethnic look features a short, thigh-length kurta, teamed with a pair of gharara pants and a side-draped pallu. She further accessorised the same with a kundan paasaa, choker and maang tika. She further completed the look with a pink potli bag and a bun.
