Slay black like these Bollywood stars!

From Margot Robbie To Mrunal Thakur, Bomb AF Celeb Looks In Black To Wear To Oppenheimer

The internet has been gearing up for the theatrical clash between Barbie and Oppenheimer. Following two different aesthetic approaches, the battle between pink and black has become the most interesting talk of the town. What has fans excited is the idea of romancing two opposite-colour families to the premiere. And while most of us our leaning towards pink and loving it a little too extra, excited fans of the Christopher Nolan film can take the other route and dress up in black. For all of you booking advance tickets for mystery thrillers, check out these bold black looks served by Bollywood haseenas for the grand film premiere.

Learning From The Barbie

While our onscreen Barbie–Margot Robbie has been only living in the many shades of pink these days, her love for black was visible at a special event. At a film premiere, Robbie channelled the Oppenheimer aesthetic in a tiny black Schiaparelli dress. The strapless number with a sweetheart neckline was tailor-made using a black velvet fabric and featured a tiny pleated tulle in white. Unlike Robbie, you can style the same with a pair of white sneakers or go ahead with a fancy bag.

Sonakshi Sinha’s Bold Andaaz

The Dabangg star’s extra dabangg look was visible during one of her film promotions. Exuding class, Sinha styled a head-to-toe black look featuring a tiny bralette, wide-legged pleated pants and a jacket. The best part about her ensemble was the faux snake-skinned jacket with cropped, elongated hemlines, broad shoulders and minimal buttons. Sealing it all together, Sinha took an edgy approach with a messy hair bun, her signature winged eyeliner and Misho jewellery.

Roaring Ruffles

Like Kriti Sanon, you can channel subtle feminine energy in the shade of black. Striking contrast with her coffee-coloured tresses, Sanon styled a sleek ruffled bodycon dress with noodle straps and a tight bust. With a thigh-high slit, Sanon curated a sensual sexy look and accessorised with striking gold jewellery. You can complete the look with heels or even flat ballerinas for a chic ensemble.

Mrunal Thakur’s Streetwear Style

Toning down the impact of an all-black look, Thakur picked up a one-shouldered jumpsuit. The backless number was further given a sharp spin with gelled-up hair and kohl eyes. Thakur’s choice of jewellery included delicate ear studs, but you can go ahead with big hoop earrings and add a pop of colour through a handbag.

Shraddha Kapoor Romancing Black

Like Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor provided a chic, Barbie-like approach to the Oppenheimer black in a romantic dress. The knitted number featured a mid-length straight-fit design, with a tiny keyhole and a wide neckline. The silhouette further incorporated a tiny bell sleeve trim and a little knitted texture to give it a seamless fit. Completing the look, Kapoor accessorised it with a pair of silver earrings, sharp eyeliner and hair tonged into open curls.
