4 Sarees From OMG 2 Star Yami Gautam’s Closet That Will Inspire Your Next Pick

Actress Yami Gautam’s personal sense of style has often delivered a gamut of looks that run straight from ethnic wear to modern-day Westerns. Apart from exuberant colours and prints that take the maximum space in her closet, Gautam enjoys styling some poetic prints and colours, especially when it comes to sarees. The OMG 2 actress’ spectacular saree designs shall inspire your sartorial sense and we’ve got proof.

Floral Delight

Keeping it fresh and floral in monsoons, the actress styled a gorgeous sorbet-hued drape in the shades, of lime, lavender and blue. Her pick for the promotions of OMG 2, incorporated this double print drape, with scalloped borders and a painterly base. She further accessorised the look with a pair of embellished sapphire earrings with pearls and diamonds, and hair styled into a messy bun.

Off-White Dreams

Another of our favourite saree designs from the actress’ wardrobe was this off-white, light-washed coffee-hued saree. High on details with tonal thread work, mukaish and light embroidery design, the actress’ saree was further combined with a chikankari and mukaish-embroidered blouse with scalloped borders.

Royal Affair

Styling a Raw Mango saree, the actress picked up a red silk number, featuring gold and bronze tilla work. With a heavy gold border, Gautam accentuated the saree design with a sheer red veil, sitting on her head. Gautam’s jewellery matched the golden embroidery work with a Rajasthani borla matha-patti, ear studs and red bangles.

Bandhani Flavour

Giving a Gujarati touch, the actress experimented with an India-born bandhani print in a saree. Her bandhani saree in the colour red featured a white border, combined with a red blouse featuring a keyhole, and high neck detail. She accessorised the look with kundan earrings, and hair styled into open curls.
