Olivier Rousteing Just Announced The Mother Of All Collaborations!

Following the frenzy that Balmain’s Creative Director Olivier Rousteing created when he announced his collaboration with high street brand H&M last year, here’s another bit of news from the fashion maven that’s even more exciting!

Rousteing has just announced a tie-up with the swoosh-iest of all sportswear brands — yes, Nike! —  for a bold new collection called NikeLab x Olivier Rousteing: Football Nouveau. The designer revealed the athleisure collaboration via Instagram, saying he was inspired by football, a game he is rather passionate about. However, the clothes and accessories are more inspired by the footballers’ off-duty style than clothes they wear on the pitch, hence, there’s a strong streetwear vibe running through the collection.

The designer’s lover for dark glamour is clearly visible in the collection too — which features options for both men and women — with black and gold being the dominant colour plays. It includes embroidered sneakers, gold-piped jackets, and also an “N98 hoodie” for women that doubles up as a dress! Utterly wearable but serious glamorous too…what’s not to love?!

Here’s a sneak peek at the collection, which hits nike.com/nikelab and select NikeLab stores on June 2:
