At the IIFA 2023, ace designer Manish Malhotra hosted a magical showcase for the attendees and inaugurated his new collection. Seeking inspiration from the 1950s inspired theatrical, Malhotra displayed his new range of monumental designs that took us back in time. Headlining the showcase were stars Salman Khan and Nora Fatehi, who wore the most spectacular pieces from the collection.

In new pictures posted by Nora Fatehi, we spotted the dancing queen in a structured ballroom gown and a slim dupatta in place. Loaning inspiration from the retro style era, Fatehi’s look exhibited a mix of Indian and European style nuances. From the dazzling MM embroidery in white to her flouncy skirt, everything was peak grandeur. To complete the look, Nora added a pair of sheer, lace gloves in navy blue, alongside a matching slim dupatta on her arms.
For accessories, Nora incorporated the trending pearls through a pair of stud earrings and tons of diamond jewellery. What we loved about the ensemble was her big hair mood, delivered by a massive hair bouffant. Curated by celebrity hairstylist Amit Thakur, Nora embraced sleek curls and a massive top knot. The actress further added more shine to the ensemble with her lustrous face and body makeup and highlighted her collar bones to accentuate the off-shoulder bodice. The collection by Malhotra paid homage to his love for cinema, through fashion from the era.
