Nora Fatehi’s Latest Look In Velvet Has The Internet Literally Saying ‘Haye Garmi.’ Can We Please Dress For The Weather?
As the heat this month takes us a step closer to death, the sight of some celebrity fashion choices is making it even worse for us. From their fabric picks to silhouette cuts, we are itching to tell some celebs that , ‘ICYMI it is garmi ka mausam.’ And if you’re still wondering which star I am hinting at here, let me tell you, it’s none other than–Nora Fatehi.

The queen of bling was spotted shooting in a blue velvet gown in this chubhti, jalti garmi and netizens had nothing to say but feel sorry. While I really loved Nora’s all-blue look, which gave off a very opera aesthetic, her velvet gloves and strapless gown failed at serving the needs of the weather. And it was exactly then, that the internet rushed to give its two bits on the look and ended up mocking the actress’ choice.

While some said, ” Garmi me velvet kon pehanta h bhai,” (who wears velvet in this heat?) some others praised Nora’s retro avatar and said, “gorgeous as always.”

For one of the episodes of her reality dance show–Dance Deewane Juniors, Nora dressed up in a velvet gown featuring a thigh-high slit. Matching the blue gown with the year’s most favourite accessories–the opera gloves, Nora topped it all off with a diamond neckpiece, bracelets and rings. She further sealed her hair into a high ponytail and opted for minimal makeup. Well, the ensemble is fab, but not for this season Nora.
