The American Music Awards 2025 were held on May 27 (IST) at the newly opened Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, USA. Nora Fatehi came to celebrate the success of her recent song ‘Snake’ with Jason Derulo. Their song topped the BBC Asian Music charts while also recording over 130 million views. Fatehi broke barriers and represented South Asians at the global stage.

The 51st American Music Awards will feature live performances by Gloria Estefan, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, Benson Boone, Reneé Rapp, and Lainey Wilson. Janet Jackson, the pop star, will get the Icon Award and perform, while Rod Stewart will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award and perform as well. Popular rapper Kendrick Lamar was in the lead with 10 nominations!

Song Of The Year was ‘Birds Of The Feather’ by Billie Eilish, Favourite Music Video was ‘Die With A Smile’ by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. If you’re wondering who took home the Favourite Country Song, well, it was obviously Beyonce’s ‘Cowboy Carter.’
