Nicobar, a minimalist fashion and lifestyle label by Simran Lal and Raul Rai, spells all things relaxed and tropical, just in time for summer.
With designs that boast a blend of minimalist and modern, the new brand has a collection that is super chic yet comfortable. Low-key yet functional jersey skirts, wrap dresses, floral A-lines, pleated shirt dresses, tie tops, summer overlays — you name it, and they have it. In relaxed, summer-friendly fabrics like cotton silk, chanderi, jersey, and a muted colour palette, we love how Nicobar merges simple designs with modern silhouettes. And with stylist Aparna Chandra leading the design efforts for the fashion line, ease and comfort feature high on the aesthetic philosophy. So much so that easy, breezy tropical island getaways come to mind instantly.
However, affordable luxe clothing is not the only thing to look forward to here. Nicobar also has a range of elegant home accessories and travel essentials that aren’t necessarily stuff you need, but you’ll want them nonetheless. Be still our minimalist hearts!

The target demographic is definitely younger than the regular Good Earth patron, with Zara-esque prices to boot, But give us organic, sustainable Indian labels over international ones any day.
