5 Statement Jackets From Neha Dhupia’s Wardrobe That Are Both Art, And Appropriate For Winters

It is officially the season to layer up, and get cosy in your winter clothes. As the calendar finally flips to December, we clear up our shelves to bring out trench coats, furry jackets, and cosy cashmere to cover up. And a similar impact of the weather on every celebrity’s closet is filling up our Instagram screens. While Bombay hardly offers the delight of the winter weather, one has to gear up for the chilly evenings. It is exactly when layering steps in. For stars too, the idea of covering up with tons of clothes is the easiest way to live through the transitioning weather. The greatest example of this is actress Neha Dhupia’s current obsession with blazers. In a closet filled with anti-fit, loose attires, Dhupia manages to find the most lively piece to dress up.

A collector of statement jackets, Neha’s idea of a perfect winter look is often stitched using spunky outerwear, and breathable clothing options to use as a base. Hence, to help you gear up for winters, we have rounded up our favourite blazer designs from Neha’s wardrobe.

Flower Galore

Neha Dhupia’s latest look gave an easy update to a beige blazer. The actress’ oversized pick by designer Dhruv Kapoor displayed his signature floral patches, spread across the fabric. The actress layered it over a crop top, and a pair of loose-fit denim jeans. The oversized number on Neha is a cool casual design that can do the duties of both brunch, and parties.

Boyfriend Blazer

Another printed design in Neha’s collection of blazers is this bold floral piece, again by designer–Dhruv Kapoor. Dhupia styled the look using black pants, and a crop top, teamed with a wristwatch. Dhupia kept her entire look extremely minimal, with open hair, and a no-makeup makeup look.

Patch Perfect

Neha styled a preppy orange blazer by label–Mini Sondhi with a pair of matching pants. Weaving the monochrome look, Dhupia’s orange set was inspired by the paintings of French architect Le Corbusier. The bow-laden sleeves and fabric patch design seasoned the set with extra drama. Neha balanced the maximalism with beachy curls and minimal makeup.

Fuzzy Brown

Neha brought dad blazers to the limelight by styling one with an almond-coloured dress. The set by designer Urvashi Kaur matches the mood of winter colours, and masters the art of layering. Dhupia’s makeup was in sync with the colours of her attire. The checkered blazer in coffee beige is perfect to style a monochromatic look, or play around with the same colour family.

Like A Pretty Painting

Neha decided to wrap herself in a bold, printed jacket and aced the look. Designer Arti Vijay Gupta’s ink-printed jacket found a spot in Neha’s airport-ready closet. The actress’ European-style, long jacket featured a bold print design in statement ink blue, with an off-white base. Dhupia completed the look with a dress in the same print and a pair of suede shoes. This is a treat for maximalists.
