Actress Rani Mukerji is celebrating her 45th birthday today, and the best gift we’ve got from her this year is the release–of Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. Besides collecting praise for her performance in the film, Mukerji is continually being appreciated for her sartorial choices. For the promotion duties of the film, the star has been choosing some excellent custom-made sarees, that pay homage to her character in the film. Well, this isn’t the first time that the star has gathered eyeballs for her fashion sense. Previously, for most promotion outings, she would make sure of winning hearts with her trunk full of diaphanous drapes. Like A Blooming Flower
For the promotion of her film–Bunty Aur Babli 2, the actress picked some spectacular Masaba Gupta sarees. The gorgeous, beige saree on her featured blooming white flowers. The head-to-toe floral saree included a printed drape, and a full-sleeved blouse, which she styled using a stack of deep green bangles. For accessories, Mukerji picked an interesting, gold-plated nose pin, with a palm symbol, a white bindi, followed by smokey eyes.
Sunshine Yellow
In her trunk full of exuberant prints, we spotted this unique, holy cow-print saree by designer Masba Gupta. Again, a fashionable print-on-print design on Rani featured sky-blue bangles, a same-coloured bindi, and a nose pin. The colour, is a big nod to the hues of the summer season, with the print, making sure she stands out.
Red Romance
For the love of romantic red flowers, Mukerji’s dense printed saree in the shade green was another head-turning pick during the promotions of Bunty Aur Babli 2. The star, exhibited another print-on-print look, with bold red flowers on the drape, and a matching high-collar blouse. She accessorised the look using a stack of red bangles, and a statement ring.

Maa-rvellous Black
For the ongoing promotions of her latest release–Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, Mukerji wore a custom-made printed saree by designer Masaba Gupta. The monochrome drape, featured the term Maa in Devanagari, symbolising her character in the upcoming film. Teamed with the drape, was the House Of Masaba, sporty, arm-warmer blouse, and oxidised earrings.
