Mona Patel wore a corset from Christian Lacroix’s Haute Couture archive. The extraordinary piece of fashion history is from the highly regarded Spring-Summer 1996 collection. According to sources, the corset was sold for USD 169,828.65 at an auction, which is approximately ₹1,43,94,850 or ₹1.43 crore. This implies that either Mona or her stylist purchased the corset.
Mona Patel paired the archival piece of art with a satin silver floor-length skirt. She opted for eye-catching diamond earrings and rings. For the glam, she styled her hair in a centre-parted sleek bun with darker brows, subtle smokey eyes, pink lip colour, luminous skin with rouge-tinted cheeks, and mascara-coated lashes. She commented o her pictures saying that it was her backup option for Met Gala.
